Monsters Mountain Bike Team Thank You, Heuberger Subaru! - Brian H.
The Manitou Coronado Palmer Mountain Bike Team is honored and incredibly grateful for Heuberger Subaru's continued support of our athletes, coaches, families, and community. Your sponsorship isn't just a logo on our jerseys—you helped make those jerseys possible, and we proudly wear the Heuberger Subaru name every time we ride. Every Subaru sponsorship dollar creates opportunities that extend far beyond the trail. Your generosity removes barriers to participation, helps young riders build confidence, and strengthens the connection between our athletes and the communities they call home. Because of Heuberger Subaru, every student has the opportunity to ride, regardless of financial circumstances. Your support also gives our athletes the opportunity to learn valuable mechanical skills through bike repair and maintenance clinics, helping them become more knowledgeable, independent, and self-sufficient both on and off the trail. Through athlete scholarships, students can offset the costs of equipment, team membership, and lettering opportunities, ensuring that finances never stand in the way of being part of the team. You equip our volunteer coaches with training and supplies, that helps keep every practice and event safe, organized, and successful. Your partnership extends well beyond our athletes. Subaru helps us host skills clinics for the community, introducing riders of all ages to the joy of mountain biking. Enables our team to volunteer hundreds of hours maintaining and building trails in the area for everyone to enjoy. You help create unforgettable memories through our annual team camping trip, which strengthens friendships, builds team spirit, and celebrates our incredible parents and volunteers. And at the end of each season, your generosity allows us to recognize the hard work, growth, sportsmanship, and accomplishments of every athlete, coach, volunteer, and family member, with an end-of-year celebration. These experiences are about so much more than mountain biking—they're the moments that transform teammates into lifelong friends and create a team that truly feels like family. At its heart, the Manitou Coronado Palmer Mountain Bike Team is about building resilient young people. Through mountain biking, our athletes learn perseverance, responsibility, teamwork, leadership, and respect for the outdoors. Heuberger Subaru's commitment allows us to develop not only stronger cyclists, but young people who care for the trails they ride, support one another, give back to their community, and grow into confident, capable adults. Thank you, Subaru. Thank you for believing in our mission, investing in our youth, and helping us build stronger riders, stronger trails, and a stronger community. Your support changes lives, creates lasting memories, and makes opportunities possible that simply wouldn't exist otherwise. We couldn't do it without you, and we are beyond proud and deeply grateful to have Heuberger Subaru as part of our team.
A huge thank you for supporting our Breakfast with Champions! - Kelly N.
Friends at Heuberger Subaru, thank you for serving as the Presenting Sponsor of Breakfast with Champions and helping make this year's event a tremendous success! Because of your partnership, we welcomed an incredible community of supporters and raised $59,000 to help Special Olympics Colorado provide opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities to thrive through sports, health, leadership, and inclusion in the Southeast Region. As Tammi so beautifully shared during the morning, "The joy that happens in Special Olympics doesn't just change athletes, it changes entire families." Thank you for believing in our athletes and for making a lasting impact on families across Colorado. We are beyond grateful for your partnership! Thanks for helping us reach new peaks!
A Community That Rides Together - Jessica V.
At Kids on Bikes, the mission is simple: every child deserves the opportunity to experience the freedom, confidence, and joy that comes from riding a bike. Through access to bikes, opportunities to ride, and bicycling education, they're building healthier kids, stronger communities, and a lifelong love for the outdoors. The Mountain Bike Skills Clinic brought that mission to life. With the support of coaches and student-athletes from the Manitou, Coronado, and Palmer Ridge mountain bike teams, kids of all ages spent the day learning new skills, building confidence, and discovering that mountain biking is about so much more than riding a trail. Every obstacle became a lesson, every challenge became an opportunity to grow, and every success reminded these young riders that confidence is built one ride at a time. For many of these kids, this wasn't just another Saturday activity—it was the beginning of a new passion, new friendships, and a welcoming community that shares a love for the outdoors. A special thank you to Heuberger Subaru for supporting this event and helping fuel every rider with snacks throughout the day. Your support helped create an environment where kids could focus on learning, challenging themselves, and enjoying every moment on the trail. Together, we're doing more than teaching mountain bike skills. We're inspiring the next generation to get outside, build confidence, support one another, and develop a lifelong love for adventure.
You Chose to Share the Love - Angie D.
At Teller County Regional Animal Shelter - (TCRAS), we meet animals on some of the hardest days of their lives. Many have been lost, abandoned, neglected, or simply forgotten. They arrive scared, unsure of the world around them, and unable to tell us what they've been through. As a limited-admission shelter, we make a different kind of promise. We don't euthanize for time or space. Instead, we give every animal that enters our doors the time, medical care, training, and compassion they need to heal and have the best chance at finding a forever home. We also care for many special-needs and difficult cases that other shelters may not have the resources to take on. Our mission doesn't stop at the shelter doors. Through our CARE House, we help families keep the pets they already love by providing affordable resources, pet supplies, education, training, and community support—because sometimes helping one family stay together means one less animal entering a shelter. None of this would be possible without a community that believes every life matters. Thank you to every customer who purchased a Subaru or serviced their vehicle during the Subaru Share the Love Event; because of Subaru of America, and Heuberger Subaru's partnership, $50,000 was raised to help the animals in our care. Your support means an injured dog can receive the treatment it needs, a frightened kitten can learn to trust again, and an older or special-needs pet can be given the time they deserve to find the family they've been waiting for. From everyone at TCRAS, thank you for believing in our mission. Thank you, Heuberger Subaru, for standing beside us and helping create more second chances, stronger families, and brighter futures for the animals who need them most.
Hope Shouldn't a Waiting List - Steve C.
Not every wound can be seen. Some battles are invisible. PTSD. Anxiety. Trauma. Disabilities that don't announce themselves to the world, yet affect every part of a person's life. For many veterans, first responders, and children with disabilities, each day requires strength most of us will never fully understand. That is why service dogs are so much more than companions. They are confidence during uncertainty. Calm during panic. Stability during moments that feel impossible. They recognize what others cannot and respond in ways that can change—and even save—a life. The hardest part is knowing that not everyone who needs one can have one. More than thirty people in our community have been waiting for a service dog. Waiting for hope. Waiting for a chance to regain the independence and peace that so many of us take for granted. When Heuberger hosted the America250 Hall of Heroes celebration, our goal was to honor those who have dedicated their lives to serving others. But honoring someone means more than saying "thank you." It means showing up. It means choosing to make a difference. Because of every person who attended and the generosity of Heuberger Subaru, nearly $30,000 was raised for Victory Service Dogs. That generosity means the wait became shorter. It means local veterans will move from waiting... to healing. Sometimes love looks like a community coming together. Sometimes it looks like a service dog. And sometimes, the greatest promise we can make is helping someone believe they don't have to face tomorrow alone.
Supporting Patients Inside and Outside the Hospital - Lauren S.
Through the Subaru Loves to Care® initiative, Heuberger Subaru partnered with Blood Cancer United and Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers- Penrose to support patients facing cancer with comfort, encouragement, and hope. On July 8th, representatives from the dealership personally delivered blankets, care kits, and messages of hope to patients receiving treatment. The donations were met with appreciation from patients, caregivers, and hospital staff, all of whom recognized the meaningful impact these simple acts of kindness can have during treatment. Hospital teams shared their gratitude for the ongoing partnership, noting that these deliveries help create moments of positivity and reassurance for patients and their families. Community support plays an important role in helping individuals feel connected and encouraged throughout their cancer journey. In addition to supporting patients through this special delivery, Heuberger Subaru will also support the Blood Cancer United Urgent Need Program – Pediatric, Adolescent and Young Adult Fund, which will provide blood cancer patients financial relief to help offset non-medical costs associated with treatment, such as transportation, food, housing, utilities, and other everyday necessities. This support helps ease some of the financial burden that often accompanies a cancer diagnosis, allowing patients and families to focus on their health and well-being. Blood Cancer United is deeply grateful for Heuberger Subaru's commitment to supporting patients both inside and outside the hospital setting. Their generosity helps provide comfort, hope, and critical assistance when it is needed most.
Polar Plunge 2026! - Kelly N.
Because of Heuberger Subaru's support as the 2026 Polar Plunge, Plunge Plaza Sponsor, more than 30,300 Special Olympics Colorado (SOCO) athletes are being given something every person deserves: the chance to belong. For many families, SOCO is the first place their child has been truly celebrated instead of overlooked, and the first time they have heard crowds cheer their loved one's name. Their generosity creates opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities to find confidence, friendship, joy, and a community that believes in them. Behind every Polar Plunge donation is a life being changed, a family finding hope, and an athlete realizing their dreams matter. We simply could not provide these life-changing moments across Colorado without Heuberger Subaru's incredible partnership. THANK YOU!!
A Coat Can Change Everything - Patrice S.
Imagine facing a Colorado winter without something as simple as a warm coat. While many of us picture snow falling quietly against the mountains, crisp air, and the comfort of warm homes, winter tells a very different story for many young people experiencing homelessness in Colorado Springs. For them, the season can mean long nights in the cold, uncertainty about where to sleep, and the challenge of getting through each day without the basic protection many of us take for granted. At The PLACE, the belief is simple but powerful: every young person deserves dignity, safety, and the opportunity to build a brighter future. The organization supports young adults navigating incredibly difficult circumstances, many of whom have left unsafe environments in search of stability and support. In moments like these, even small acts of care can make a meaningful difference. This winter, that care came through the generosity of Heuberger Subaru as part of the Subaru Loves to Help initiative in partnership with Operation Warm. Together, they donated nearly 140 brand-new winter coats to young adults served by The PLACE in Colorado Springs. For youth facing homelessness, these coats offer more than protection from the cold. They provide comfort during uncertain days and serve as a reminder that their community sees them and cares about their well-being. Donations like these coats help create meaningful moments of connection. Something as simple as a warm coat can restore confidence, create a sense of belonging, and bring comfort during a time that can often feel isolating and uncertain. For many young people, putting on a brand-new coat is more than staying warm—it is a reminder that someone believes they matter. Through the Subaru Love Promise, Heuberger Subaru is helping ensure that young people in Colorado Springs are met not only with warmth, but with compassion, dignity, and hope for the road ahead.
A Partnership That Goes the Distance - Micah R.
The Pikes Peak APEX continues to grow into one of Colorado's most demanding and inspiring cycling events, and Heuberger Subaru has been there from the very beginning as a Founding Partner. The 2025 race was a huge milestone, expanding to three back-to-back race days across Colorado's Front Range. Stage One kicked off in Palmer Park, where Heuberger Subaru welcomed riders and spectators in the vendor village. Stage Two took athletes deep into the rugged terrain of Cañon City, where Heuberger Subaru hosted a much-needed food and hydration aid station. Stage Three made history as the first-ever APEX gravel race, covering 136 miles with 11,400 feet of elevation gain, and Heuberger Subaru proudly served as the lead vehicle from Cripple Creek. Heuberger Subaru's support means so much, they show up in more ways than one, from cheering athletes on, to fueling them mid-race, to leading and protecting the longest and toughest stage, Heuberger Subaru plays a real role in helping riders push through their hardest moments. That kind of behind-the-scenes commitment is what makes events like the Pikes Peak APEX possible, and why this partnership continues to mean so much to our racing community.
Grateful to have Heuberger Subaru riding alongside us - Brian H.
We are truly so lucky to have the continued support of Heuberger Subaru for the Manitou Monsters, made up of the Manitou, Palmer, and Coronado Schools. This past year was a rebuilding year for our program, and what a year it was. Enrollment is way up, with a huge group of freshman riders and an incredible number of middle school athletes joining the team. Getting kids involved at a young age means more than just learning how to race: it's about building confidence, learning commitment, and discovering a lifelong love for biking and the outdoors. The growth showed up in big ways. Palmer took first place at every race event this season, and close to a dozen of our athletes reached the podium. Even more incredible , our entire race team qualified for State. That's 25 high school athletes earning their spot, which is HUGE and a testament to the hard work of these riders, coaches, and families. But this team is about so much more than racing. It's about getting kids on bikes. It's about community. It's about showing up for one another. This team is a family. We are so grateful for Heuberger Subaru. Their support reaches far beyond race day — helping with the behind-the-scenes essentials that make this program run. Because of that support, kids are riding. Kids are racing. Kids are finding their place in a community that believes in them.
